How do I leave a gift?
There are several ways you can participate in The Logan County Developmental Disabilities Foundation:
  • An outright gift to the foundation: The gift may be made in a one year or as a multi year pledge given over a specified period of time.
  • A planned gift by will: A bequest to the foundation may take the form of cash, securities, real estate or other assets. Charitable bequests are fully deductible in determining estate taxes.
  • A life income gift: This way of giving allows an individual to transfer assets to the foundation, receive an immediate income tax deduction, receive a lifetime income, and lower estate taxes later.
  • A life insurance policy: The Logan County Developmental Disabilities Foundation may be named as the beneficiary on a life insurance policy. With the foundation named as both owner and sole beneficiary, the donor is entitled to a current income tax deduction.
